Material of Fat Dissolving Solution
The lipolysis injection uses phosphatidylcholine (PC) and deoxycholic acid (DCA) to dissolve the cell membrane. When injected into the tissue of fat cells, it will cause irreversible damage to the fat cell membrane, leading to the collapse of fat cells, a moderate inflammatory reaction, and finally being cleared by phagocytes to achieve local lipolysis. The formula of injection lipolysis is usually composed of a series of effective ingredients that help fat metabolism.
Mechanistically, fat metabolism is usually regulated by α-2 and β-adrenergic receptors on the surface of fat. β-receptor activity increases fat dissolution, α-2 receptor activity inhibits β-receptor activity, and reduces fat dissolution. The amount of fat dissolution can be adjusted by adjusting the balance between the two. At present, many lipolysis drugs achieve fat dissolution through this mechanism.
Precautions
1. Apply an ice pack to the treated area; this will reduce any initial swelling. Swelling can last for about 1-2 weeks, and the area may look uneven during this time. Results directly after the treatment should not be seen as the final outcome. The treatment area will initially appear larger due to swelling, and the solution injected into the area.
2. Wear compression garment for 24hrs for the first seven days following treatment and 12hrs a day for the second week.
3. Do not touch the treated area for 6 hours following treatment.
4. Avoid washing the area with soap and water for 6 hours.
5. Avoid applying makeup to the area for 12 hours. After this, you can use light makeup and gently wash the area with soap and water.
6. Until the initial swelling and redness have resolved, do not expose the treated area to intense heat (e.g. solarium and sunbathing) or extreme cold.
7. Avoid laser treatment, chemical peels or similar procedures as they may cause an inflammatory reaction.
8. If you have previously suffered from cold sores, there is a risk that the needle punctures could contribute to another eruption of cold sores.
9. If you are taking aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, or any similar medication, these may increase the bruising and bleeding at the injection site.
