Types of Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Filler

The hyaluronic acid dermal fillers produced by our company mainly include the following types:

2

Hyaluronic Lip Filler

Hyaluronic acid lip fillers are injectables made of synthetic hyaluronic acid. Once injected into the lips, they support the lip tissue, contour the mouth, and correct any asymmetries.

Hyaluronic Acid Chin Filler

Hyaluronic acid (HA) chin filler is a non-surgical injection that enhances the shape of the chin. It's made from a gel-like substance that's naturally found in the skin.

Hyaluronic Acid Fillers For Cheeks

Hyaluronic Acid Cheek Filler

Hyaluronic acid (HA) cheek filler is a gel-like injection that restores volume and smooths wrinkles in the cheeks. HA is a substance that occurs naturally in the skin, but levels decrease with age.

Hyaluronic Acid Around Eyes

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a substance that can be used around the eyes to hydrate, plump, and reduce the appearance of dark circles and puffiness. It can be applied topically in serums, eye creams, and moisturizers, or injected under the skin.

Reduces Facial Lines and Wrinkles
Dermal fillers that contain hyaluronic acid can reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles by plumping the skin. Hyaluronic acid can also strengthen the skin’s natural barriers to ward off and minimize damage caused by excess sun exposure, environmental pollution, and smoking.

Non-Invasive Treatment
Hyaluronic acid fillers can be performed as a minimally invasive procedure or as a non-invasive procedure. Topical hyaluronic acid fillers are non-invasive because they involve the gentle rubbing of a formula into the skin, while injectables are considered minimally invasive because they involve injecting a needle into the skin.

Hydrates the Skin
Hyaluronic acid acts as a humectant—meaning it attracts water and allows it to bind to hydrogen. Hyaluronic acid will draw in moisture continuously to keep the skin adequately hydrated, healthy, and youthful-looking.

Increases Skin Resilience
Skin that contains an adequate amount of hyaluronic acid tends to be more effective at defending itself against environmental pollutants such as vehicle exhaust and secondhand smoke. Hyaluronic acid can also protect the skin against harmful ingredients in low-quality skincare products that strip away the defensive barrier of skin.

Tightens Skin
Hyaluronic acid may not directly tighten skin like elastin (a protein that allows skin to resume its shape after stretching), but it can contribute to the appearance of tighter skin by adding hydration.

Regenerates Skin Cells
The increased hydration and improved skin resilience that occurs with hyaluronic acid fillers can promote the regeneration of skin cells. New skin cells can make your skin look younger, healthier, and more vibrant, and further reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles and fine lines.

Repairs Discoloration
Freckles, age spots, and other skin discoloration issues can often be improved with regular exfoliation and increased skin cell turnover. Hyaluronic acid fillers may also help repair discoloration by promoting skin cell turnover and the generation of new skin cells.

Smooths Skin
Skin that is scarred or pitted can feel rough, uneven, and scaly to the touch. Most hyaluronic acid injectables can not fill in scars; however, they can add volume to the face to make it appear plumper in spots that may be uneven. These dermal fillers can also address roughness to make skin feel smoother and silkier.

Steps of Filling with Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers

Facial assessment & mapping
If you choose to utilize packaged soft tissue fillers, the plastic surgeon, or his specially-trained nurse, will evaluate your facial appearance and skin tone and examine the areas of your face to be augmented. Strategic points on your face may be marked as the appropriate injection sites for the filler. Photographs may be taken of the areas to be treated.

Cleansing & anesthetizing
The injection sites will be cleansed with an antibacterial agent. Pain at the injection site may be ameliorated by use of a very cold instrument to chill the skin, anesthetic ointment to numb the skin or injection of local anesthesia. While not painless, the injections are usually easily tolerated.

The injection
Injection usually takes only a few moments per site. The process of injecting, massaging, and evaluating the result is performed, and additional filler added as needed. Depending on the number of areas to be treated, the whole process may be as short as 15 minutes, or as long as an hour.

Clean up & recovery
Once the results are deemed satisfactory, any markings will be cleansed off. You may be offered an ice pack to reduce swelling and alleviate discomfort. Although the area may feel a bit tender for a day or two, it is usually not painful enough to require any medication.

FAQ

Q: How long does hyaluronic acid dermal filler last?

A: Hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers typically last 6 to 18 months, but can last up to 15 years. The exact duration depends on the product, the area treated, and how quickly your body metabolizes the HA.

Q: Can you overuse hyaluronic?

A: While hyaluronic acid is a great hydrator, overusing it can lead to dehydrated skin. This happens because hyaluronic acid can only attract and retain a limited amount of moisture, and using too much can cause it to pull moisture from deeper layers of the skin.

Q: What not to do with hyaluronic acid?

A: If you are receiving radiation therapy, don't use hyaluronic acid on your skin. Hardening of skin and connective tissue (scleroderma): Applying hyaluronic acid to the skin might make skin ulcers worse in people who have a condition called scleroderma. If you have scleroderma, don't use hyaluronic acid on your skin.

Q: Should you moisturize after hyaluronic acid?

A: Always make sure to follow with a moisturiser, this is a skincare must in general, but especially when using Hyaluronic Acid Serum because it locks the moisture in. But it's important to wait 30-60 seconds for the serum to absorb before following with other products.

Q: What should I never mix with hyaluronic acid?

A: While hyaluronic acid generally plays well with most skincare ingredients, the one you should never mix with hyaluronic acid is retinol as it can potentially cause irritation due to the combined potency of both ingredients; other ingredients to be cautious with include high concentrations of alcohol, harsh fragrances, and some strong acids like alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) which could counteract hyaluronic acid's hydrating effects.

Q: Why is my skin so dry after using hyaluronic acid?

A: If your skin feels dry after using hyaluronic acid, it's likely because you applied it to completely dry skin, causing it to draw moisture from the deeper layers of your skin instead of attracting moisture from the environment; to fix this, always apply hyaluronic acid to slightly damp skin and follow up with a moisturizer to lock in the hydration.
